Protecting Our Children
"With regard to issues highlighted in the national press concerning alleged child abuse at Football clubs.
At Premier United FC and Premier Mini Soccer School, player welfare is our No.1 priority. As such, all Coaches, Managers and assistants are required to undertake Criminal Record checks at the DBS and attend mandatory FA Safeguarding Children courses.
Emma Harman 07530 154371 is our Club Welfare Officer, and attends all training sessions, she can be contacted for any issues. The Clubs Safeguarding Children and Anti-bullying policy can be found in our Code of Conduct document which you should have previously received.
We are in the process of applying for FA Charter Standard Award accreditation, this is awarded to clubs that are rigorously adjudged by the FA to be well-run and sustainable and which prioritise child protection, qualified coaching and implementation of the Respect programme. This will be a big achievement and key milestone in the advancement of our club.
